The Sustainable Fertilizer Academy is helping me keep up to date with industry sustainability trends and new thinking in the field.

I had the privilege of going through SFA’s sustainability modules, and this is by far the best synthesis that I have witnessed on a single platform. IFA, through its Academy, has thus offered the participants an opportunity to learn a healthy mix encompassing aspects on agronomy, sustainability, emissions, product stewardship etc. As the name suggests, all participants will accrue excellent knowhow on Sustainability in Fertilizer domain and will leave as ambassadors to propagate this knowledge in their respective companies.

The SFA program developed by IFA members, is a beacon of excellence, providing comprehensive training and fostering competence among farmers and agricultural professionals. The program is under continuous improvement to make sure it remains relevant. Through the SFA program, participants will gain invaluable knowledge and skills that are crucial for implementing best practices in agriculture. The SFA modules cover all aspects of sustainable fertilizer use, ensuring that every participate will be equipped to make good choices to benefit both the environment, climate and crop yields.

The program of the SFA was both insightful and enriching, providing me with up-to-date knowledge and practical tools that have significantly enhanced my capabilities and deepened my understanding of sustainable practices within the fertilizer industry which qualified me to be the first Sustainability Unit Manager at the Arab Potash Company.
